Accessible counselling from wherever you are in British Columbia

Online counselling can make it easier to begin therapy when life feels full, schedules are complicated, or getting to an office is not always possible.

You may be working long hours, caring for family, living outside Vancouver, managing health or mobility needs, or simply feeling more comfortable speaking from your own space. Virtual counselling offers a flexible way to access support without needing to commute or be located near the office.

My goal is to offer the same steady, respectful, and compassionate counselling space online that I offer in person. Together, we can explore what you are carrying, what feels difficult to manage, and what kind of support may help you feel more grounded.

When online counselling may be a good fit

Online counselling may be helpful if you:

Live outside Vancouver but are located in British Columbia
Have a busy work, school, or caregiving schedule
Prefer the comfort and privacy of your own space
Feel anxious about commuting or attending an office
Want continuity of care while travelling within BC
Need support during a stressful or transitional season
Feel more comfortable starting therapy virtually

You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning. Many people start counselling simply knowing that something feels heavy, unclear, or harder to manage alone.

What online counselling can support

Online counselling can support adults navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, relationship stress, burnout, identity, boundaries, and emotional overwhelm.

You may be looking for support because you feel:

Anxious, tense, or constantly on edge
Overwhelmed by work, relationships, or responsibilities
Disconnected from yourself or others
Unsure how to move through a major life change
Stuck in patterns of self criticism or perfectionism
Exhausted from carrying too much for too long
Lonely, isolated, or unsure where you belong
Unable to fully rest, even when nothing urgent is happening

Counselling can help you slow down, understand what is happening beneath the surface, and build tools that feel realistic for your life.

Online anxiety counselling in BC

Anxiety can make your world feel smaller. It may show up as racing thoughts, overthinking, difficulty sleeping, irritability, panic, physical tension, avoidance, or a constant sense that something is wrong.

Online anxiety counselling can give you a private space to explore what anxiety looks like for you. We can work together to understand the patterns that keep anxiety active, build grounding tools, and create more space between anxious thoughts and how you respond to them.

For some clients, online counselling feels especially supportive because they can attend from a familiar environment. For others, it simply makes therapy easier to fit into daily life.

What to expect from a virtual session

Online sessions are still collaborative, personal, and relational. You are not expected to arrive with a perfect explanation of what is wrong.

In our work together, we may explore:

What has been feeling overwhelming or difficult
How anxiety, depression, stress, or grief show up for you
What patterns you have been trying to manage on your own
What coping strategies are helping and what may no longer be working
How your relationships, identity, culture, history, or environment shape your experience
What small steps may help you feel more grounded and supported

There is no pressure to share more than you are ready for. We can move at a pace that feels respectful and manageable.

Online counselling and privacy

For online counselling, it is important to have a private space where you feel comfortable speaking openly. You may want to choose a quiet room, use headphones, and give yourself a few minutes before and after the session so you are not rushing in or out emotionally.

If you are not sure whether online counselling is the right fit, a consultation can help us talk through your questions.
